Dow Inc. is an American chemical commodity company. It was spun off from Dow DuPont on April 1, 2019, at which time it became a public company and added to the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The company is headquartered in Midland, Michigan.

DOW, after the strong bearish swings and the latest lateral consolidation, we believe it may be close to a break to the upside also supported by an increase in volumes.

• Since June 2021, the stock has started a bearish channel: the lateral consolidation at $ 57.00 is in our opinion a signal of a possible break of the channel.

• Increase in volumes: Since mid-September 2021, we have noticed a considerable increase in trading volumes. An increase in volumes near the breaking point is in favour of a bullish break out in the short term.

• MACD and RSI are both up in a period when the price has been consolidated at $ 57.00
